Boil water notice in effect for Elko

A Boil Water Notice has been issued for the Elko Water System.

Due to  recent repairs on the pump, all water intended for drinking, washing produce, making juice or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled at a rolling boil for at least one minute.

The Boil Water Notice will continue for several days until the required lab results are confirmed.

The community will be notified via the Elko Email Group and on its website once the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
