Update: Power back on

Update: Power has been restored in Cranbrook.

Original: An outage has power out for almost 2,000 customers in Cranbrook.

BC Hydro said 1995 customers are affected from North of 5th street, west of College Way, east of Cobham Avenue and South of Industrial Road 1.

Power went out at 9:02 a.m.

BC Hydro said crews have been assigned and the cause is a bird contacting the wires.
