Bucks face elimination in Game 5 against Bandits

The Cranbrook Bucks will try to keep their season alive tonight when they host the Brooks Bandits in Game 5 of the Interior Conference final.

Brooks leads the best-of-seven series 3-1 after a 4-3 overtime win in Game 4.

Dmitrijs Dilevka scored the winner 2:13 into overtime for the Bandits, while Cranbrook’s Adam Csabi forced extra time with his 11th goal of the playoffs.

Dilevka, Harijs Cjunskis and Luke Melnik each recorded two points in the victory.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at Western Financial Place.

The Bucks are encouraging fans to arrive early because of an expected high volume at the box office.

Children 12 and under wearing a minor hockey or Bucks jersey will receive a complimentary ticket courtesy of Kootenay Concert Connection. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
