WFP parking changing for childcare facility construction

Construction on the new childcare facility adjacent to the Western Financial Place is starting next week and will impact parking.

The parking entrance, located off of 17th Avenue North, will be closed for the duration of the project work.

City staff said some parking spaces along the ramp area at the south end of Western Financial Place will remain open.

The parking changes will be in place until mid-2027, once the construction is complete.

Some time this summer, 17th Avenue North will be closed to traffic for the installation of water, sewer and storm sewer.

Those dates will be confirmed in the near future.
