That was an increase from 277 calls during the same time the year prior.

Break and enters for businesses, residences and other totaled 17 which was a small increase from the same time last year which had 14.

Sexual assaults were down slightly from five to three.

However, while not included in the third quarter report, staff sergeant Svend Nielsen said they have gotten more reports of drink spiking.

“We’ve had currently three reported since the beginning of the year. The good news is that the process we’ve put in place from the previous year when these events were being reported has worked,” he said.

“The hospital has been engaged with that process. We’re waiting on results for one particular event. The others were satisfied through investigation that there was insufficient evidence to proceed at this point.”

The full quarterly report can be found here.
