The City of Cranbrook is looking for qualified consultation services to get involved in the planning and design of childcare facilities.
Cranbrook officials said the city is looking to develop a childcare centre using a vacant property it owns or renovate an existing building.
Officials said the building will need to ensure appropriate indoor and outdoor spaces, align with the Child Care Needs Assessment and increase access to quality, inclusive child care.
“The facility will provide spaces for holistic childcare programming to support the needs of families and provide children with consistent, quality care,” said city officials in the request for proposal (RFP).
Submissions are open until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan 19.
