BC Transit unveils new digital payment system

BC Transit is set to launch a new digital payment system in the West Kootenays and Cranbrook.

The new system, Umo (pronounced “you-mo”), will introduce contactless payments and other fare payment methods.

Once the program is launched, you will have the choice of using the Umo Mobility app or a reloadable card as your payment method.

  • Cranbrook
    • Public Library main entrance

    • Real Canadian Superstore
      • Thur, May 30 – 10 a.m. to noon.
    • Tamarack Centre main entrance
      • Thur, May 30 – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  •  Nelson
    • Kootenay Co-Op
      • Tue, May 28 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • Chahko Mika Mall
      • Wed, May 29 – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
