Residents of Invermere may notice an increase in emergency personnel and equipment next week.
On April 14-15, wildfire evacuation and training exercises will be done in the CastleRock Neighbourhood.
District staff said the exercise should better prepare emergency personnel for a wildfire.
The work is being done through a partnership with FireSmart BC
and the Columbia Basin Trust.
