Mainroad East Kootenay is advising residents that major repairs to Frances Bridge are getting underway.
Crews will be starting preliminary work on Oct. 14.
A full closure is scheduled to begin on Oct. 19.
Mainroad said the bridge will reopen for light traffic between Nov.2-6 and should fully reopen on Nov. 7.
Drivers should plan to use an alternate route during this work and obey all posted signage and flaggers.
