Cranbrook sweeps into spring cleanup

It’s spring, meaning dust, dirt and debris have built up on Cranbrook roads.

Street sweeping in Cranbrook will begin Monday, March 16 as public works crews clear gravel and rubble left behind over the winter.

Crews will start on major priority routes, including Van Horne and Highway 3. Crews will typically work Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. for the next few weeks.

Residents are asked to park off the street whenever and wherever possible so crews can clean the roads more effectively.

Street sweeping will continue throughout the spring and summer, with extra cleaning happening before major community events if needed.

Additional details and information about impacted street sweeping areas will be provided by the city on the City of Cranbrook website.
