ʔakisq̓nuk First Nation to host all-candidates forum amid council election

ʔakisq̓nuk residents will get an opportunity to hear from the candidates vying for one of two positions on the Nation Council.

An all-candidates forum is set to go ahead on Tuesday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Administration Building and through Zoom.

Voters will cast their ballots for two of the following four candidates: Janice Alpine, Faro Burgoyne, Anna Louise Hudson and Lillian Rose.

Advance polling is set for April 23, from 12 to 6 p.m., with regular polls opening on April 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voters will need to provide their Status Cards and birth dates before casting their ballots.

Telephone, mail-in and online ballots are also available.
