Kimberley has released the 2023-2026 Corporate Strategic Plan, laying out city council’s goals for the remainder of their term.
City officials said the priorities detailed in the plan include infrastructure renewal, financial accountability, environmental stewardship, inclusivity and civility, economic resiliency, and risk management.
“The priorities were carefully selected during a series of planning meetings and are aimed at addressing key areas of community development,” said city officials. “They reflect Council’s commitment to fostering a resilient and sustainable future for Kimberley.”
Mayor Don McCormick said he’s happy with the strategic direction council is taking.
“These priorities represent a roadmap that captures our residents’ views for Kimberley’s future. During the next three years, we look forward to achieving the goals outlined, which are integral to our evolution as a prosperous and sustainable community,” said McCormick.
