Telus and Shaw customers in the Elk Valley have been left without phone, cable and internet on Tuesday.
Both telecom companies are reporting total service outages in Sparwoord and Elkford.
Telus officials suspect cable damage is behind the issue.
They add that the outage was first reported early Tuesday morning.
Neither company knows when service will be restored just yet.
