With the weather starting to worsen, the District of Elkford is reminding residents that the winter parking bylaw will soon be in effect.
The bylaw restricts where you can park in the winter.
From Nov. 1 to Mar. 31, parking is prohibited on any roadway, street, highway or lane between the hours of 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
District staff said the bylaw is in place so that public works can safely remove snow.
They also ask residents to make sure stuff like bike jumps and basketball hoops are taken off the road as well.
