Two wildfires were sparked in the East Kootenay.
Both fires are out of control, but each is under half a hectare in size.
According to the Emergency Map of B.C., the blaze was sparked near East Peavine Forest Service Road, north of Moyie.
As of Thursday morning, the lightning-caused wildfire is estimated to be a quarter of a hectare.

Another small fire was ignited just east of Canal Flats, near Findlay Creek Road.
The fire is about 0.01 hectare and there is no known cause for now.
