Highway 93 just south of Canal Flats is closed after a vehicle fire broke out early Friday afternoon.

Drive BC officials said the incident happened between Andrew and Mud Creek Road, about six kilometres south of the community.
Officials said there is an assessment in progress, and drivers should look out for traffic control.
There is no word yet on any injuries or when the highway will reopen.
