Kimberley launches survey for next year’s budget

The City of Kimberley wants to hear from residents on what matters most ahead of next year’s budget discussions.

The five-year financial plan guides future investment in services and infrastructure such as roads, utilities, parks, trails, recreation facilities, emergency services, and community programs.

The city is asking residents to fill out a survey on what matters most, areas that should see future investment and how the city should balance priorities.

“Community input plays an important role in helping Council make informed decisions about where to invest limited resources,” said City Chief Financial Officer Krista Waite.

“We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their thoughts and help shape Kimberley’s future.”

The survey will be open until Aug. 19 and can be found here.

The input will be considered by council later this year.
