Ghostriders season over after sweep from the Grizzlies

The Fernie Ghostriders’ season has come to a close after a series sweep by the Revelstoke Grizzlies, who have now won their fifth Teck Cup.

Coden Fournier was the best player for Fernie this post-season. He tallied six goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 21 games.

The Grizzlies had the upside when it came to firepower with their top scorer Ethan Coventry potting 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in 19 games.

The Ghostriders end the season as Kootenay Conference champions.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies aren’t done playing yet, as they will now be one of the three teams to face the Kimberley Dynamiters in the Mowat Cup.
