Columbia Valley Residents can look forward to the Invermere Snowflake Festival which gets started on Jan. 19.
The free event will feature local food vendors, food trucks, live music and an ice carver.
There will also be a fireworks display.
The Invermere and District Curling Centre Bonspiel will also start on the 19th on the lake and carry on into the weekend.
