The King Street rail crossing in Cranbrook will be closed for the day on Monday.
Crews will be paving along the tracks following work earlier in the year.
The crossing will close at 8 a.m.
City of Cranbrook staff said residents needing to access the Slater Road area including Pinewood Elementary School will need to use either the Jimsmith Lake crossing, the 3rd Street NW or the 6th Street North crossing instead.
