Elkford launches budget survey ahead of open house

The District of Elkford is seeking public feedback on its draft Five-Year Financial Plan ahead of a public open house set for next Wednesday.

“The Five-Year Financial Plan (and budget) outlines how the District of Elkford will allocate resources to deliver the day-to-day programs and services that our community relies on, all while achieving Elkford’s Strategic Plan,” said the District.

Residents are invited to learn more about the draft financial plan at an open house set for Wednesday, March 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Teck Hall in the Community Conference Centre.

A public survey was launched on Monday, March 3 and will remain open until March 17 to gather residents’ thoughts on the proposed budget.

You can complete the online survey, email feedback to [email protected], drop off written comments at 744 Fording Drive or call 250-865-4000 and request to speak to the Financial Officer.

You can find the survey, budget details and other relevant information here.
