Dynamiter jumps at opportunity to become Jamestown Jimmie

Kimberley Dynamiters forward Tyler Lindal has signed with the University of Jamestown Jimmies for the upcoming season, a Div. II hockey program in North Dakota.

Lindal is in his third year with the Nitros and has put up 10 points in 25 games so far this season.

“I am very excited for my future at a great university while playing for an outstanding hockey program,” said Lindal.

“The Dynamiters helped me mature my game. Playing in the KIJHL’s best organization, you need consistency and that’s where the organization has helped me grow the most.”

Head coach Derek Stuart says Lindal’s grown as a player over the three years and he’s happy he got this opportunity.

“Tyler is very deserving of this opportunity and has earned it through hard work and dedication,” said Stuart.

“He is exactly what we want in a Dynamiter. The entire organization is very happy for Tyler.”

Lindal has played 104 regular season games in a Dynamiters sweater and has tallied 26 points.
