Cranbrook to clear snow along Highway 3 sidewalk

Cranbrook is continuing its clean-up efforts following last week’s heavy snowfall, with sidewalk clearing to impact overnight traffic along Highway 3.

Cranbrook’s Public Works team is set to begin removing snow from the sidewalk along the highway, from 9th Avenue South to Victoria Avenue.

Work is set to begin on Thursday at 11 p.m. and will continue until 7 a.m. the following morning.

In the meantime, City officials say the right lane heading north/eastbound will be closed to traffic as crews will be active with several pieces of equipment and dump trucks in the area.
