Moir Park closed to accommodate rock festival camping

Moir Park in Cranbrook is closed to the general public to be used as a campground for Rock the Kootenays 2024 at the Western Financial Place.

It will be closed from Aug. 8 until the morning of Aug. 12.

The park is being converted to a campground to accommodate the thousands of visitors coming to Cranbrook for the festival.

Campers will be able to access the parking lot starting at 12 p.m. on Aug. 9.
