A vehicle accident on Wednesday morning has left 758 BC Hydro customers in the Wasa area without power.
BC Hydro officials said the power was shut off just before 10 a.m. and repairs are expected to be complete by 2 p.m.
The affected area stretches from Skookumchuck in the north and southwest to Highway 95A, between Wasa and Kimberley.
According to a BC Hydro source, the power outage was caused by a vehicle hitting a power pole just south of the Skookumchuck pulp mill.
