The City of Kimberley has launched a new resource for tourism and businesses to help them prepare for potential emergencies.
The resource is a video from Fire Chief Rick Prasad and Deputy Fire Chief Chad Koran walking businesses through the proper steps in case of an emergency, especially a wildfire.
It was funded by the Provincial Resort Municipality Initiative and was originally developed after the 2018 evacuation alert put in place when Kimberley was faced with the threat of wildfire.
