Both the Columbia Valley and Fernie Search and Rescue were able to locate two groups of hikers.
A group of four hikers had gotten lost on Mount Pinto.
The hikers were descending from the peak and lost the trail.
They called the Columbia Valley SAR just before dark and were found and transported to the trailhead.

Fernie SAR was called out to rescue an injured hiker who had become cliffed out near the Mountain Lakes Trail.
The hiker along with his four companions was airlifted out and he was delivered to BCEHS.
