The BC Wildfire Service is reporting a new fire to the east of Cranbrook.
The fire was reported this morning and is located east of the Sylvan Lake Forest Service Road.
It’s approximately 0.09 hectares in size.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
It’s the 10th fire reported by the BC Wildfire Service in the East Kootenay this fire season.
