Police are looking for witnesses who may have noticed a gas thief in the middle of the day yesterday.
Just after noon, police were called to the 3500-block of Collinson Road.
The owner of a brown F150 pickup truck was walking Rails to Trails and found gas spilling out of a hole in his fuel tank when he returned to his truck.
“RCMP are looking for anyone who might have been in the area and may have seen anyone lurking around,” says Cst. Katie Forgeron.
“We are looking for anyone who was in the area between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m who may have seen anything suspicious.”
