Cross border property concerns

Ted and Therese Helmer from Bonner’s Ferry Idaho have a cabin on Kootenay Lake north of Creston. Their family has owned the property since 1952. With the Canada-USA border closed, this is the first summer they haven’t been able to visit B.C. Snowbirds from the East Kootenay have some of the same concerns. Those with property in places like Arizona and Calfornia.

He spent close to 30 years in radio in the Okanagan, known there as “Penticton’s Man of the Year” in 2003 and was rated the South Okanagan’s “Most Popular Radio and TV Personality” in 2015 according to Okanagan Life Magazine.
