Columbia Valley makes its big screen debut tonight in Invermere

Tonight is the night: a Columbia Valley movie premieres in Invermere.

All Night Wrong was filmed and produced in the Columbia Valley last year and premieres tonight at the Columbia Valley Centre.

Tonight’s showing is sold out, but a limited number of tickets remain for a second screening Saturday.

Invermere Mayor Al Miller said the event could be one for the books.

“It looks like it’s going to be a big hit, tickets are selling very fast,” Miller said.

The premiere highlights the region’s growing role as a film destination and offers an opportunity for the community to come together for a shared experience.

Miller said he appreciates the work that went into organizing the event.

“I certainly want to acknowledge all the work that our folks back in the chamber and the economic development commission have been working at that very hard,” Miller said.

The screenings are presented through a partnership involving Travel Columbia Valley, the Columbia Valley Film Commission and the Invermere Film Festival.
