Rotary Creekside Village breaks ground

Shovels have hit the dirt for the upcoming Rotary seniors housing project at 5th Street South in Cranbrook.

“It is an exciting day, with a great project here,” said former Cranbrook Rotary president Rick Jensen.

“We still have some fundraising to do but it’s well on its way.”

The new development will provide 12 one-bedroom suites for seniors who need affordable housing.

The City of Cranbrook donated the land to the Rotary Club with a 99 year lease.

Residents are expected to move in next summer.
