Cranbrook transit fare change coming Saturday

Cranbrook residents can expect to pay a little more for bus rides come Saturday.

The increases are relatively small. The single ride fee for an adult is going up 25 cents, while a day pass is jumping from $3.75 to $5.

The increase in fees helps reduce the amount coming from general taxes.

City staff said it’s the first fare change since 2011.

More information on all the fare changes can be found here.
