Police investigating after man injured

The Cranbrook RCMP is investigating an altercation near the community forest that left a man injured.

Police said it was in the area of 9th street South and 42nd Avenue South on Sept. 25.

Officers located the man and the BC Ambulance Service provided medical care.

Police believe it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.

Anyone who witnessed the event or has dash-cam footage is asked to call the Cranbrook detachment at 250-489-3471.
