Police investigating residential break and enter

The Cranbrook RCMP is urging residents to lock up after an attempted break and enter on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Police said they responded to an emergency call in the early morning, where an intruder had allegedly entered a residence in the 900 block of 29th Avenue South while the homeowner was home.

Officers attended the scene and deployed the Police Dog service, but were not able to locate the suspect.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Police are reminding residents to make sure all exterior doors are locked day and night.

You should also make sure all garages, sheds and vehicles are locked up as well.
