Time is running out to share your voice on one of Cranbrookâs most important issues: community safety.
The Cityâs 2026 Budget Citizen Survey closes on Friday, Sept. 19, and residents are urged to complete it before the deadline.
The survey is a critical tool that helps Council decide how to allocate resources and set priorities for the year ahead. With last yearâs results showing homelessness, crime, and safety as top community concerns, this yearâs survey zeroes in on safety to help guide local policing and future budget decisions.
The public opinion survey is open online to all residents, with paper copies available at City Hall. A statistically valid survey was also mailed to a random selection of households.
Both sets of results will be presented to Mayor and Council ahead of the 2026 budget discussions this fall.
Mayor, Council, and City Administration remain committed to finding efficiencies and reducing costs wherever possible, while continuing to provide the quality services residents, businesses, and visitors expect.
