The area restriction put around the Silver Basin fire has been amended.
The lightning caused fire was discovered on Aug. 28 and grew to 490 hectares.
It prompted an evacuation alert that was rescinded earlier this week, however, the fire is now being held.
An area restriction is still in place but it has been reduced. It will be in effect until Oct. 30 unless rescinded earlier.
