Fuel management work is underway this week in Kimberley for 13 hectares of land.
Contractors are on-site behind Levirs Avenue and the Trickle Creek Golf Course, where crews will be slashing, piling, lopping and and scattering brush to help reduce wildfire risk.
City staff said there should be little impact to nearby trails, but residents are asked to follow posted signage and any detours that me be in place.
