The Fernie leisure pool will temporarily close for a few hours on Aug. 6 for needed maintenance work.
The pool will be closed from 8:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
A leak was identified in the circulation pump during a recent routine inspection.
The repair needs to be made soon to prevent extended or unexpected closures.
A full shutdown will also occur later in the month for annual maintenance and deep cleaning.
The aquatic centre will be closed from Aug. 23 to Sept. 8.
