Cranbrook Road Work Closing Kootenay Street Intersection

The City of Cranbrook and Mackay Contracting are closing off the intersection of 4th Street North and Kootenay Street to all traffic as of Thursday morning.

The closure is needed as the contractor continues the Kootenay Street Storm Sewer Trunk Main Project.

As of Thursday, July 25, 2019, the intersection will be temporarily closed until Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

“Kootenay Street remains closed between 4th and 5th Street North. Detour routes can be used on Highway 3 or 16th Avenue North via 2nd or 6th Street North,” advised the City of Cranbrook. “Please follow and respect all detour signage and the direction of any flaggers on-site during this temporary intersection closure.”
