Bucks coach happy with regular season, getting ready for playoffs

Another regular season has come and gone for the Cranbrook Bucks and another trip to the playoffs is set.

Bucks head coach Ryan Donald says looking back on the season he can’t complain on how it turned out.

“Some moving parts and some unpredictability but I think looking back at it, to win 30 games and some of the individual accolades we’ve had in our group is pretty exciting,” he said.

“It gives us some optimism as we head into playoffs.”

The Bucks finished the season with a 30-22-2 record for 62 points.

They will be facing the Trail Smoke Eaters in Round 1 of the playoffs.

“That’s what we’ve put all the work in over the regular season is to get to this time of year and give ourselves a chance to get a championship,” said Donald.

Game 1 is on Friday in Trail.
