Water tank failure forces closure of Kimberley Aquatic Centre

Kimberley’s Aquatic Centre will be closed over the weekend due to a hot water tank failure.

The City says the closure will extend over the weekend, and a new tank should be installed early next week.

Despite the closure, several programs will continue as scheduled.

The Aquatic Centre Day Camps will continue without pool time and the Bronze Medallion course is still planned to go ahead.

For now, preschool and swim lessons are still scheduled for Monday, March 31.

“We will inform participants in advance if this changes,” said the City.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.”
