Bucks’ Svartström named 2nd star of the week

Cranbrook Bucks forward Rasmus Svartström’s stellar season is continuing, adding another star of the week honour.

He was named the second star of the week for tallying two goals and six points in three games last week.

Svartström leads the BCHL in goals with 42 on the season so far.

He’s also tied for sixth in total points with 62 in 50 games.

He recently broke the team record for goals in a season and keeps adding to that number.

The Bucks will have a tough weekend ahead of them facing the two top teams in the Eastern Conference.

They will take on the Penticton Vees on Friday followed by the Brooks Bandits on Saturday.
