Man arrested after shots fired in Cranbrook

Cranbrook RCMP has arrested a man following a report of shots fired in the community late Friday night.

Police officials say the detachment was called about the incident in the Southview area shortly before midnight.

Nobody was hurt as a result of the shots being fired and the suspected man behind the shooting was safely arrested.

Cranbrook RCMP officials say the investigation is ongoing and more information will be publicized later.
