Cranbrook RCMP is asking the public to keep an eye out for a man who is wanted on an endorsed warrant for theft under $5,000.
Police officials say 27-year-old Darrian Jeff stands 5’6” (168 centimetres) tall, weighs about 150 pounds (68 kilograms) and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Jeff is featured on the Cranbrook RCMP’s Wanted Wednesday program.
S/Sgt. Barry Graham says Wanted Wednesday is a massive help for the local detachment.
“Having the public help us out gives us more eyes and ears, it’s so beneficial,” said Graham.
“Our time on the road is limited and just hoping you happen to find someone at a random place and time, it’s not always the best policy.”
Police officials ask the public not to approach Jeff if he is seen.
Residents should instead report any information on his whereabouts to the Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471 or you can report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
