Dynamiters and Thunder Cats clash in Tuesday match

The Kimberley Dynamiters and Creston Valley Thunder Cats are getting ready to battle it out tonight in Creston.

Dynamiters head coach Derek Stuart says the two teams are fighting for different things.

“They’re a desperate team. They’re fighting for their playoff lives and we’re fighting for first place so there are two teams with something to play for tonight,” he said.

“We’re focused on coming out with the two points and getting a little closer to clinching first.”

The Dynamiters are a top the Eddie Mountain division with 59 points.

They are three points above the second place Fernie Ghostriders and Fernie no longer has games in hand.

The Thunder Cats have moved into last place in the division, one point behind the Golden Rockets with one game in hand.
