Cranbrook OCP hearing set for Monday

Cranbrook residents will be able to voice their opinions on the proposed official community plan at public hearing next week.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Jan. 13 but was delayed until the 27th.

The city received comments back from the Agricultural Land Commission and after reviewing the comments they were sent to teh city’s solicitor for legal review.

Due to the holiday season, the city was still waiting on a response and had to delay the hearing.

Staff believe they will be able to move forward with the proposed OCP as is or make changes before the Jan. 27 meeting.

The full proposed OCP can be found here.
