Ghostriders continue home stand with unfamiliar opponents

The Fernie Ghostrders are getting set for their third home game in a row as they host the Nelson Leafs tonight.

The Ghostriders will be looking to bounce back after they suffered a 7-4 loss to the Columbia Valley Rockies.

They will also face the Chase Heat tomorrow.

Head coach Chad Scharff says they have to keep to their game when playing against teams they aren’t as familiar with.

“We don’t know a lot about them we haven’t played them yet. Our focus is always on us,” he said.

“Whatever team comes in here there’s enough pre-scouts that we should know what to expect. At the end of the day, it’s how we perform and what we can do to give ourselves the best chance at success.”

Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
