Cranbrook sending out 2024 utility bills

With the Canada Post strike over and mail starting to flow again the City of Cranbrook is sending out its 2024 utility bills.

Bills will only be sent to those who haven’t paid yet.

City staff say most residents may not get their notice until January due to the backlog.

The city has extended the deadline to pay to Jan. 15, 2025.

Residents can also pay online, but will need their utility bill account number and access code which is printed on any old city utility bill.

If you are planning on paying in person, city hall will be closed from Dec. 23-27 and on Jan. 1.
