Two Purcell Hockey Academy players to compete for Hungary

Two players from the Purcell Hockey Academy have been selected to represent Hungary in a four-nation tournament in Germany.

Boglárka Báhiczki-Tóth will be bolstering Hungary’s blueline.

Last year she put up 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 19 games for HK Budapest.

While, forward Flóra Pásztor also made the roster.

She played for Budapest JA last season and tallied four goals and two assists in 19 games.

The four-nation women’s U18 tournament is being held in Füssen, Germany this weekend.

Hungary’s first game will be against Austria on Friday, followed by a match against Germany on Saturday and a Sunday game against Slovakia.

The tournament is a precursor to the Women’s U18 Division 1/A World Championship which starts on Jan. 5, 2025.
